Pool care in the City Beautiful
For condos, HOAs and apartment buildings, see our condo, HOA and apartment pool service in Coral Gables.
Coral Gables has two very different kinds of pools. North of US-1, in the original planned city around Granada, the Biltmore section, Coral Gables Country Club and Riviera, many homes date from the 1920s through the 1950s, with Mediterranean Revival architecture, walled patios and pools that have been renovated over the decades. South of US-1, toward Old Cutler Road, Cocoplum, Gables Estates and Gables by the Sea, lots are larger and newer, many pools are bigger custom builds with spas, water features and automation, and some homes sit on canals that open to Biscayne Bay.
The city's tree canopy is the biggest daily factor. Live oaks, banyans and black olives line most streets, and their leaves, flowers and seed pods fall year-round. Debris that sinks stains plaster and feeds algae, so skimming, brushing, vacuuming and baskets are part of every visit, and leaf-heavy pools often need more frequent filter cleaning.
The ground is the second factor. Coral Gables is built on oolitic limestone, the "coral rock" the city is named for, and the water here is hard. Heat and evaporation leave calcium behind as white scale on tile lines, inside heaters and on salt cells. Keeping pH, alkalinity and calcium in range slows that down, which matters more on older plaster that etches if the water turns aggressive.
Bayfront and canal homes in the south Gables also take salt air, which wears ladders, rails, light rings and equipment fittings faster. Many owners also have spas and water features attached to the pool, and those need their own attention to heaters, jets and controls.
Coral Gables cares about how properties look, and many neighborhoods have gated entries or HOA rules. We schedule visits inside 7am–7pm, keep equipment and hoses out of sight from the street when we're done, and follow each community's access rules.

FAQs
Which Coral Gables neighborhoods do you serve?
All of Coral Gables, including Granada, the Biltmore section, Riviera, Ponce-Davis, Old Cutler, Cocoplum, Gables Estates and Gables by the Sea. Service comes from our Coconut Grove office.
Can you maintain an older pool on a 1920s or 1930s home?
Yes. We balance water to protect older plaster, keep the surface brushed, check aging equipment during routine visits, and tell you plainly when an acid wash, resurfacing or equipment replacement would make more sense than another repair.
Why does my Coral Gables pool get white scale on the tile?
The city sits on limestone and the water is hard. Heat and evaporation leave calcium at the waterline. Keeping pH and calcium in range slows it, and heavier build-up can be cleaned off the tile.
Will your visits follow my HOA or gated-community rules?
Yes. We follow each community's access and timing rules, schedule visits between 7am and 7pm, and leave the equipment area tidy.
How much does weekly pool service cost in Coral Gables?
Weekly residential service generally runs $150–$300 a month, depending on pool size, tree cover and condition. Larger custom pools with spas and water features are quoted individually after an on-site look.
